Surry Supports Those Who Serve

Through the Veteran's Center at Surry Community College, veterans have the opportunity to take advantage of educational benefits. These benefits vary based on the chapter and eligibility is determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

In order to take advantage of the following benefits, students must follow the admissions requirements of Surry Community College, as well as the requirements of the Financial Aid Office and Veteran's Office. Students eligible to receive VA educational benefits must select a program of study. Most programs of study offered are approved for students to receive educational benefits administered by the VA.

In accordance with DOE 34 CFR Section 668, Surry Community College restricts fraudulent and aggressive recruitment of military students including, but not limited to, providing compensation to individuals for securing military enrollments or engaging in high-pressure recruitment tactics.
