Quality Education Should Be Affordable

Financial aid for college is available, and most people are eligible for it. Your financial aid specialist can explain the process of applying for financial aid, and work with you to explore all your options.

College is an investment, and Surry Community College is committed to making your investment affordable. As a community college, we invest in our students, and strive to keep costs low.

Many grant and scholarship opportunities are available as well. Please complete the Workforce, Technology and Community Education (WTCE) Scholarship and Financial Aid Form and a financial aid specialist will review your information to see if you are eligible for assistance.

Virginia residents pay the same tuition rate as in-state students for Workforce, Technologies & Community Education (WTCE) certifications and courses.

Financial Aid Repayment

Students who owe Return to Title IV Financial Aid Repayment are able to set up a payment plan for that past due balance. Students can contact Lee Welch, SCC Cashier, at (336) 386-3208 or welchel@surry.edu. Surry Community College will work with each student on an individual basis to help them manage their student debt. Students cannot register for future courses until any past due balances are paid.
