Surry Community College is offering an online introductory programming course using the C++ programming language for Summer 2023.
There are no pre-requisites for this course which introduces computer programming using the C++ programming language. Topics include input/output, arithmetic operations, functions, object-oriented programming techniques, file processing, decision and repetition control structures, arrays, and other related topics.
Upon completion, students should be able to design, code, test, and debug at a beginning level. This is one of four courses that comprise the Computer Programming & Development Certificate that SCC offers. It also qualifies as a college transfer class.
The class runs from May 22 to July 21, 2023. Students may be eligible for tuition assistance for this course.
