Surry Community College is offering a Sustainable Beekeeping class that will meet at the Pilot Center, 612 E Main St., Pilot Mountain.
The class will first meet on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Subsequent classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Thursday, Nov. 3. Students will learn from Davie Simpson, current vice-president of the Surry Beekeepers Association, about how to sustainably maintain beehives.
