Surry Community College will hold a workshop, Monitoring and Managing Vineyard Nutrition, in Room 113 of the Shelton-Badgett North Carolina Center for Viticulture & Enology, Surry Community College, 630 S. Main Street, Dobsonon Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Surry Community College Viticulture Instructor Sarah Bowman will lead the workshop that will focus on collecting representative data. Practice your soil sampling and vine health observation skills in the campus demonstration vineyard. Students will learn to develop a nutrition plan tailored to their vineyards and specific production goals.
