How to Start a Small Business will be presented on Thursday, March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Yadkin Center, 1001 College Drive, Yadkinville. Participants will discuss the basics of starting a business in this seminar that takes you from idea to opportunity. Learn key strategies for start-up, financing and marketing, as well as important information about legal issues, licensing, zoning, operations and more. Realize the importance of a self-assessment and how to evaluate the feasibility of your business idea. Discover the resources available to help you start and successfully operate your business. The speaker will be Ruben Gonzales.
Marketing and How to Find Your Customers will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Yadkin Center, 1001 College Drive, Yadkinville. Market Research is not only for startups; it is an important ongoing process for every small business. Developing a focused and effective marketing plan requires up-to-date market analysis. Discover the variety of market research tools that will give you critical information about your industry and customers. Get the data you need to test the feasibility of a new business, find the potential customers interested in your proposed product or service. The speaker will be Ruben Gonzales.
Marketing Campaigns and Strategies that Work will be held on Friday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mount Airy Public Schools Central Office Board Room, 351 Riverside Drive, Mount Airy. Lunch will be provided. Participants will discuss marketing strategies that work based on survey results and research data compiled in a study of our region by a long-time regional marketing firm. The data is based on local research and is thus relevant to organizations in the area. The speaker will be Chris Diyorio of Wordsprint, Inc.
