Free SBC Seminar on Financing Your Business Through Capital Formation will be held on July 29


Surry Community College's Small Business Center will be holding a free seminar, Capital Formation, on Monday, July 29, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Surry Community College Small Business Center, Sells Building, J-116, 630 S. Main St., Dobson. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome.

The seminar will focus on how to raise capital to support and grow your business. Topics include peer-to-peer lending, Reg A-plus, Crowdfunding, Cryptocurrency, sale of LLC interests, and pooled resources to flip homes. Ann Elmore from the Secretary of State's Office will provide insight into capital-raising rules it administers and enforces.

The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce, Yadkin County Chamber of Commerce, and Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring this seminar.
