College Application and Transfer Week

Date:

Surry Community College is celebrating College Application and Transfer Week Oct. 19-23, in cooperation with CFNC's event, NC Countdown to College, which is North Carolina’s annual campaign to support college access during the month of October. CFNC is the College Foundation of North Carolina.

Activities support students in completing three important college enrollment steps: residency, FAFSA, and applications. During this time, many NC colleges and universities waive their application fees.

Many helpful events are planned by SCC to encourage college transfer students to apply to the schools of their choice.

If you have any questions about the activities planned, contact Melissa Recknor, Director of Advising and Student Success, at (336) 386-3628 or recknorm@surry.edu.
