The Basic Law Enforcement Training Program is a 696-hour program
designed to prepare entry level individuals with the cognitive and
physical skills to become certified police officers and deputy sheriffs’
in the state of North Carolina. We currently schedule three classes a
year. A day class is normally scheduled to start in January, a night
class in May, and a second day class scheduled in July.
