Did you know that there is high demand for qualified teachers right now? Students who are interested in becoming teachers have a wonderful opportunity to accelerate their education at Lees-McRae College. With options ranging from elementary and special education to secondary level certification through our 4+1 MAT program, we offer you several pathways to becoming a certified teacher.
We cordially invite you to participate in a unique event that is focused on our academic programs in Elementary Education, Special Education, and our Direct Entry options to a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree. With the Direct Entry option, students will choose to major in either Biology, English, or History and then earn their master’s – all in five years or less!
