Surry Community College is launching fast-track programs to help more North Carolinians earn credentials and get back to work in high-demand fields.

Partnering with the Surry-Yadkin Works initiative, these programs are extended to all students. Each program includes 20+ hours of on-the-job training and upon successfully completing the workforce certificate and employer entry requirements, students will be placed with employers for immediate employment.

Thanks to funding from the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) program, you may qualify for up to $750 toward a short-term non-degree course that can propel you into a job or an apprenticeship.

Workforce Grants Scholarships

Many grant and scholarship opportunities are available as well. Please complete the WTCE Scholarship and Financial Aid Form and a counselor will review your information to see if you are eligible for assistance.

Virginia residents pay the same tuition rate as in-state students.
