Workforce Certificate, Skills Training, Online
This 1-semester Information Technology certificate is designed to introduce students to the business world of information technology. Concepts include operating systems, web design, and introductory programming, networking and information security. Classes are part of the IT Certificate but offered individually as well. This entire certificate is offered online and may be started in Fall or Spring.

These courses meet the requirements for the “Continuing Education to Curriculum Credit” method of Credit for Prior Learning competencies and earn course credit. The content mastered is comparable to the student learning outcomes of a SCC curriculum course and may be used to fulfill degree, diploma, or certificate requirements. Cost: Tuition rates based on course hours. Total project cost for this certificate is $1800.
Virginia residents pay the same tuition rate as in-state students.
