Program Overview

Interested in collision repair? Learn real-world, hands-on repair situations to get practical skills you can use immediately. Expand your knowledge and gain techniques to find a career in the field. In many cases, you can also earn your I-CAR credits. Whether you’re a new apprentice or an old pro, our courses are available for you.

The one semester Workforce Certificate offered provides students the opportunity to receive the same instruction and skills as college students without placement tests, general education requirements and a college application. Students pay continuing educations rates without regard to residency requirements. Workforce Certificates are suited for students looking to acquire workforce skills. These skill-specific classes will prepare a student to be successful in the field of collision repair. The student will understand how to assess painting, refinishing, repair structural and automotive detailing.

Employment Opportunities:

Upon completion, individuals should be able to apply for entry-level positions within the automotive collision repair industry.

Total credits needed to graduate: 432 Hours

Program Costs

Cost:Tuition rates based on course hours. Each of the three courses cost $183. Price does not include textbook, tools, and supplies.

Virginia residents pay the same tuition rate as in-state students.

Many grant and scholarship opportunities are available as well. Please complete the WTCE Scholarship and Financial Aid Form and a counselor will review your information to see if you are eligible for assistance.
