Construction Technologies encompasses Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVAC), Construction Management, Carpentry, and Electrical Systems Technology programs.
Individuals can learn the supervisory, managerial side of the Construction Technologies industry by gaining insight on labor relations, scheduling, bid strategies and other crucial skills as well as obtain hands on training in carpentry, HVAC, or electrical systems installation and repair by participating in projects to assist community organizations at Surry. Graduates of Construction Technologies programs are prepared for entry-level positions in architecture, engineering, construction and trades professions.
