Report Behavioral Concerns

The purpose of the SCC CARE (Crisis Assessment, Response, and Evaluation) Team is to provide a cross-functional, multidisciplinary point of contact for members of the college to report troubling or threatening behaviors of campus community members.

The CARE Team will evaluate and respond to reports brought to the attention of the team. The CARE Team will also support those in need of guidance or other interventions and refer them to appropriate campus and community resources.

To report an issue, follow the appropriate guidelines below:

  • Online Referrals: Log into myKnightLife – In the top left click Menu, click Forms, and the click Student Behavior Report Form.
  • Verbal Referrals: Call or speak with a CARE member, telling them what you have observed or heard, and explain why this concerns you.
All campus community members are responsible for reporting concerning behavior to the Crisis Assessment, Response, and Evaluation Team. If an incident is an imminent threat, the observer should call 9-1-1 immediately.
