We help facilitate a connection between employers and employees, whether it is in job placement through Career Services, bringing people together at community events, and providing our facilities for community and business use.

The Jobs Connect office is the central hub for the career development of students at SCC. Through our services and programs, we can help maximize success in creating "career savvy" job candidates. Our career services include:
- Cosmetology Salon
All cosmetology services are performed by students currently enrolled in the cosmetology program at Surry Community College. The salon is located at the Dobson campus of Surry Community College on the lower level of the “H” building in room H-128. Patrons should park in the parking lot located behind the “H” building or in the spaces provided next to the salon. For more information call 336-386-3383.
- Facility Rental
Surry Community College welcomes other organizations (not directly affiliated with the college) to use campus facilities for their meetings or activities when their work is compatible with, or supplementary to, the educational and local economic purposes of the college. Charges or fees may be assessed dependent on the activity.
- Knights Grill
The Knights Grill is located on our main campus and is open to the public.

Fall & Spring Semester:
The Surry Community College library is located on our main campus. The library contains reference materials and a large collection of fiction and non-fiction books that are available for check-out by students, faculty, staff, and community patrons. For more information, visit the SCC Library.
- NC Viticulture and Enology Center
The Shelton-Badgett NC Center for Viticulture and Enology (SBVE) serves the grape and wine industry, not only in North Carolina, but the entire Southeast by providing workforce training and industry support.
