Woodworking and Cabinetmaking

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental techniques of working with wood and the various hand tools and machines used in cabinetmaking and woodworking. In addition, lathe and turning skills will be taught to those that are interested. Students choose a wood project of their choice and receive instruction on planning the project, purchasing the materials and using tools and equipment to safely complete the project.
