Surry’s Career and College Promise (CCP) and Basic Skills programs offers students opportunities to complete their high school diploma or to accelerate the completion of college credentials by taking college classes while in high school.

Qualified high-school-age students in North Carolina have the opportunity to pursue college options tuition free, while they are in high school, allowing them to get a jumpstart on their workplace and college preparation.
High School Equivalency
The High School Equivalency program allows adults to demonstrate they have the skills and knowledge comparable to a high school diploma. There are many benefits from going through this program and taking the GED® test.
